This high performance ignition coil has been manufactured to upgrade the original coil on a YFM225 S to U models using the original coil 1UY 82310 41. If you're having spark issues with your YFM 225 1986, 1987 or 1988 then it's a no brainer to get some new coils on there and for the little extra you can get a racing coil. As you'll get a better spark, you'll also
